Dads story is being told out of respect for those who fought for their country, many did not return and the numbers of the returned are dwindling, old man time is taking his toll. Everyone of them had his own beliefs, but united they fought for their families and country. These pages are written in the hope they will help us remember, honour and never to forget them. T.E.Lawrence wrote in 1926: "It is unfair, Like all war stories, to the un-named rank and file who miss their share of credit, as they must do, until they can write their own dispatches" This is my dads dispatch.
